Driving home from dinner this evening, there was this rainbow... I said if it was still visible when I got to a spot I could stop, I would. Turns out, at the end of that rainbow was 4,140 lbs. of gold (Stinger Yellow). I wanted to jump in here and say hi to all the Challenger peeps in the "z" world. I mentioned to one of the long-time members a short while ago, it's very easy to get lost in here and lose track of time. And no, that's not a bad thing. So far, in a very short time I've found lots of useful info, so thank you and thank you in advance for all to come. Seems the Admins do a great job of keeping the Challenger porn in check! So a little about me... Just bought a 2012 SRT-8, Yellow Jacket, 6 spd, with just over 31k on the clock. It was a bucket list item on the list of both me and the misses. As the story goes, it was previously owned by a little old lady from Pasadena. Ok, no it wasn't, I was just checking to see who's paying attention... It was in fact owned by a Priest. I'm guessing that man of the checkered cloth was trying to get closer to God, and ffffffffffffast! The car has some signs of life but certainly doesn't appear to have been abused. I've been told the YJ package cars were of limited production, so I'd bee (get it? C'mon, just checkin' to see who's still here...) interested in seeing the production numbers for the cars with my options and just where I fall in the # ____ of # ____ produced. The wheels had a good bit of curb rash on them, but NY driving and parking will do that. Already had the wheels refinished and they look "mahvelous!" Have a CAI en route, looking at a Borla cat-back (any feedback on options for cat-backs is welcomed). Gonna have a sorta custom "T" hood decal added, to personalize it a bit, and not take away from the YJ look. Have never seen a YJ on the road yet, and don't expect to see one any time soon. If you're a dog lover, and a Challenger peep (or any muscle car head), you're my kinda peep! Since retiring from the police department, I've dedicated my life's efforts to rescuing animals. Mostly dogs, but have quite a few other species under my belt. I have quite a bit of humane law enforcement experience as well. An are of the law that seems under enforced, so I've been doing a lot of consulting with various rescue groups and humane societies on various legal, and enforcement issues. Had one very interesting case where something unprecedented was accomplished. Sadly, there's a lot of work out there. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing you on the Forumz, in the threads. "Go fast or be last!"
